Phase Two: Delphi Study
Phase Two is not currently open.
A Delphi Study is a tool designed to help a group of experts reach a consensus on a particular topic. People are invited to take part. They are given a topic or question(s) to respond to and over a number of rounds (usually about 3) the aim is to reach a consensus.
Things you need to know about the Delphi Study
1. While the researcher knows who is taking part answers are given under a pseudonym chosen by the participant and never connected to their real name. This means answers are given anonymously.
2. Delphi studies are usually carried out by email, however they can also be carried out using digital forms. This can increase anonymity.
3. It’s possible to run a live Delphi study, but more often they are run over several weeks, one round a week. Because of the gaps it is useful for regular reminders to be sent out to participants.
4. For the purpose of this project the plan is to use a form once a week to capture answers, with reminders sent out every few days.

This project is iterative, meaning each step is created from the last. For this reason participation criteria will be decided after phase one.
